iPhone 16 is on the way and expected to launch in September 2024, but Apple has not officially announced the release date till now. Based on leaked mockups, the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models will look very similar to the iPhone 15 Pro model design.
It is saying that the Pro models are using Grade 5 titanium for the frame, like the iPhone 15 Pro. The display sizes may be slightly larger – 6.3 inches for the iPhone 16 Pro and 6.9 inches for the iPhone 16 Pro Max, up from 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches in the current models.
Other design changes could include a new dedicated “Capture” button on the side for quick video recording. This Bottom would be in addition to the usual volume and power buttons.
Spec-wise, the iPhone 16 Pro series is expected to be powered by the next A18 chipset. The Pro models may also both get the 5x telephoto camera that is currently only on the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

In terms of colours, a new darker purple shade is rumoured after the iPhone 14 and iPhone 15 both got new purple options. We may also see the usual slate of colours like silver, gold, and graphite offered for the iPhone 16 Pros.
While the design is expected to remain similar overall, the iPhone 16 Pro models will pack in several internal upgrades to boost performance and camera capabilities. The new A18 chip fabricated on a 3nm process could bring speed and efficiency improvements.
The rumoured expanded telephoto zoom range would also give the cameras a nice boost. Bigger batteries could also be in the cards, allowing for better battery life. The new Capture button hints at enhancements to video recording.

iPhone 16 Pro series may not come with a completely different design, but we can expect the usual improvements to power, performance, displays, and cameras. Exciting upgrades like the expanded zoom lens and Capture button could add meaningful new functionality for users.
