Smartphone startup Nothing recently launched its budget Phone 2a in India last month, and now the company is teasing an unspecified new product, calling it an “industry first.”
In a video posted on X, Nothing co-founder Carl Pei and content manager Julie Duan briefly discussed the upcoming mystery launch. While details are scarce, Duan called the product “a bit of an industry first,” asking Pei why other companies haven’t done something similar yet. Pei gave a vague response about it being “quite difficult,” before the conversation abruptly ended, enticing viewers.
This isn’t Nothing’s first cryptic teaser campaign. In the past, they’ve built hype for apparel, beer, and other items before officially disclosing them. Company has created custom uniforms for employees focused on quality and timeless aesthetic. This latest tease has people curious what exactly Nothing has up its sleeve this time.
